Provide the plant with indirect bright light, avoiding direct sunlight. During the day, the plant prefers temperatures between 70°F-75°F , and slightly cooler temperatures at night. Use a well-draining potting soil that is peat-based. Water the plants lightly but often to keep the surface of the soil lightly moist. Daily misting helps keep the surface rhizomes from drying out. During spring and summer try and keep the soil moist at all times, without leaving the soil soaked. Rabbit’s foot ferns require repotting about every two years, and the best time to do so is in spring.
